Koffers gepakt. Hotline met Dieneke en Tonia. Laatste wasje in de machine. Werk overgedragen. Compagnon uitgezwaaid. Kinderen bijgepraat. Alle papieren bij elkaar....papieren? Ik mis nog wat! O, waar is die uitnodigingsbrief gebleven? Van ZOA? Hoera, mijn overgeorganiseerde brein slaat op hol. Mensen, ik reis niet dagelijks en vier keer in een jaar tijd naar Afrika is dol. Vorig jaar rond deze tijd was ik net terug uit Kenia met MAF NL. Tjonge, time flies. Wat heeft Afrika toch dat mij trekt? Is het de mooie bevolking? Is het dat prachtige continent in al zijn kleuren en pracht? Ik kan u zeggen: er is veel verschil in de diverse Afrikaanse landen. Liberia is mooi, maar totaal anders dan bijvoorbeeld Gambia dat er vrij dicht bij ligt.

Dieneke en ik hopen u mee te nemen op onze reis naar Dabwe Town. Heel vreemd om zonder Tonia te gaan, maar het is goed zo. We vertegenwoordigen MF zo goed we kunnen en gaan er voor de volle 100 % voor! MF Liberia.....we komen eraan!

Bags packed. Hotlines to Dieneke and Tonia. Last laundry in the machine. Work delegated. Goodbye to business partner. Catch up with the kids. Put all the papers in one pile .... papers? 

I miss something! Oh, where did that invitation letter go? From ZOA? Hooray, my overorganised mind is going crazy. People, I don't travel on a daily basis and certainly, four trips in a year to Africa is crazy. Last year around this time I had just returned from Kenya with MAF NL. Wow, time flies. What does Africa have that attracts me so? Is it the beautiful people? Is it that beautiful continent in all its color and splendor? I can tell you that there are many differences between the various African countries. Liberia is nice, but totally different from, for example, Gambia, which isn't too far away.

Dieneke and I hope to take you along on our journey to Dabwe Town. It's very strange to travel without Tonia, but it's good. We will represent MF as best as we can and are 100% motivated! MF Liberia ..... here we come!
